AB De Villiers Hit Fastest Half-Century In T20 Match
Domestic RAM Slam T20 Tournament 2017 has started in South Africa and the ABD Villiers's storm was seen in the third match of the tournament. De Villiers's best innings and Albie Morkel's glorious all-round game helped his team Titans wash the Lions with 8 wickets. Due to rain, the match was reduced to 15 overs. While batting first, Lions' team scored 127 runs in 15 overs losing six wickets. Reeza Hendricks (67 off 42 balls) scored the runs on behalf of the Lions and none of the batsmen could leave their mark except Hendricks. On behalf of the Titans, Morkel gave 12 runs in 3 overs and took 3 wickets.
In reply, Quinton de Kock gave a fabulous start to the Titans team, who came out to chase the target. Quinton combined with Henry Davids to add 42 runs for the first wicket. However, after De Kock (39) was dismissed, Titans had two consecutive shocks as Davids (5) and the team's 2 wickets fell to just 55 runs. However, after that Albie Morkel and De Villiers blazed the Lions bowlers and made extremely aggressive batting. In front of both the batsmen, the Lions bowlers were looking modest.
De Villiers, batting brilliantly, scored 50 runs in 19 balls. De Villiers scored a strike rate of 263.16. In addition, De Villiers scored 3 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. On the other hand, Albie also gave a tremendous batting. Morkel scored 41 runs in 16 balls. Albie's strike rate was 256.25 and Morkel scored one four and 5 sixes. Both batsmen were not dismissed till the end and the two won their team with 8 wickets.

Mr. 360 degrees cricketer AB de Villiers create history by making a stormy half century in the South African T20 Challenge played at Centurion's Supersport Park. In the match against the Lions, De Villiers batted in an explosive manner and scored a half century in only 19 balls. During this, he scored 5 sixes and three superb fours.
With this, he broke his old record. This is the fastest half-century by De Villiers in T20 cricket. Earlier, he made 21 balls playing for RCB in IPL 2012 and In 2016 against England he scored half-century in 21 balls in the International T20 match.
