The title of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup being played in India will be played on Saturday between Spain vs England. England and Spain beat Brazil and Mali in the FIFA Under-17 Semi-Finals with a score of 3-1.

Brazil and Mali will fight for the third place on Saturday. In the first semifinal played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, England defeated Brazil in the semi-final by defeating their best striker Rhian Brewster in the hat-trick. For England, Brewster scored goals in the 10th, 39th and 77th minutes. Wesley scored the only goal for Brazil in the 21st minute. In the first half, England took 2-1 lead. In the second half, Brazil tried to goal but did not succeed. This match was to be played first in Guwahati, but due to the lack of field conditions, it was shifted to Kolkata where more Brazilian fans were seen.



In the match played at the D.Y. Patil Stadium of Mumbai, Spain reached the FIFA Under-17 Final by defeating Mali at the 19th and the 43rd minute by Abel Ruiz and in the 71st minute by Ferran Torres. The only goal for Mali was in the 74th minute by N'diaye.

However, the Brazilian team played aggressive football and continued to attack, but the balanced midfield of England did not allow him to cash in on the opportunities. There is a significant role played by Phil Foden of England.

Match Summary

In the opening minutes, England had strengthened its position. Morgan Gibbs took the ball from Wesley and passed it to Brewster. Brewster hit the ball on the goalpost, but Brazilian goalkeeper Brazao stopped his kick, but he managed to score a goal on the Bridgestone rebound. After some time, Wesley brought Brazil to the same level. The duo of Paulinho and Wesley scored the goal for Brazil. Paulinho gave cross to Wesley, who scored a score on the rebound to score a score of 1-1.



Equal score could remain for 18 minutes. From the right side of the box, Foden passed the ball to Sessegnon, who was delivering the ball to Brewster by serving a Brazilian player. He did not miss the opportunity and make his sixth shot in this World Cup.

After one minute, Brazilian striker Lincoln missed the opportunity to score. In the second half Brazil lost some opportunities. Yuri Alberto was close to making the goal but the goalkeeper could not touch. Weverson passed Lincoln after this, but his header left over the goalpost.

In the meantime, Brewster conceded his team's victory by scoring another goal. Foden gave the ball to Emile Smith Rowe passed a cross pass to Brewster and he completed his hat-trick. At the same time, Spain has reached the final for the fourth time in the World Cup, although before that, they could not win at all three occasions.

This is the fourth time Spain have made it to the final of the tournament. He could not make his name even once before. Before that, he was defeated by Ghana in 1991 and Brazil 0-1 in 2003. Nigeria defeated her in 2007. In 1997 and 2009, he was in third place. With his dream of his first title coming on the field, Spain made an opportunity to score in the second minute. Ruiz tried to put the ball in the goalpost with the right edge, but he failed.




Mali also tried to score in the ninth minute. He also failed. Due to the mistake of Mali's defense, Brazil got penalties, which Ruiz opened his team account by turning into a goal.  After half time, Spain doubled its lead. Gomez gave Ruiz a chance to put the score 2-0 into the net in the first attempt. Mali, however, got equalized in the 62nd minute. Cheick Oumar Doucoure put the ball in the net, but the referee did not make it a goal.

Torres pushed Gomez to the goalpost, scoring 3-1 and Spain easily managed to make it to the final for the fourth time.
