IND vs SL 3rd Test, Day 3 - India Historic Win, the 3rd Test Won by an Innings and 171 Runs

In the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team has done a clean sweep by defeating Sri Lanka in the 3rd match of the 3 match series. This is the first time that Team India has clean sweep in the Test series in Sri Lanka. The previous test was played at Kandy's Pallakal and India scored just one innings and 171 runs on the 3rd day. In the 2nd innings Ravichandran Ashwin top-scored with four wickets. Ashwin gave the win to Lahiru Kumara by making clean bowled. Sri Lanka's 2nd innings ended on 181 runs in 74.3 overs.

Hardik Pandya (108 runs) batted with bat and ball to put the first century of his Test career. He completes his century in 86 balls. Shikhar Dhawan and Lokesh Rahul added good start to Team India and added 188 runs for the first wicket. Shikhar Dhawan played a superb innings of 119 runs. While Lokesh Rahul scored a half century in the Test match for the 7th successive time Rahul scored 85 runs, as well Virat Kohli scored 42 runs. Sri Lanka's Sunrisers Rangiika 5, Malinda Pushpakumara 3, and Vishva Fernando 2 wickets shock.
