ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Schedule Announced 2018, Fixture, Group, Venue and Teams

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 tournament on Thursday. The ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Schedule first match will be played between New Zealand vs West Indies on 13 January 2018 at Oval. Team Indian first match will be played from Australia. It will be the investiture of the tournament. The tournament will begin on January 13, 2018 and the final match of ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018 Fixture will be on February 3. For the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, The Indian team is placed in Group-B with Australia, Zimbabwe and East Asia Pacific qualifier Papua New Guinea.

Before the start of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Group match The India will face FIFA matches on January 9 in South Africa and January 11 in Kenya. Separately from this, the recent winner of the tournament will be played the first ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Fixture match West Indies vs New Zealand. Both teams have been included in ICC U19 World Cup Group A.

In addition ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Group C has included Canada, England and Namibia, even as the two-time champions Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Asia qualifier Afghanistan and Europe qualifier Ireland have been included in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Group D.  Two groups of top rank teams will join the Super League in each ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Group as the remaining 8 teams will be seen in the plate championship.

Team India has become the 3rd Champion

Team India had lost the final to the West Indies in 2016, but they have won the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 3 times. In the captaincy of Mohammad Kaif in 2000 Team India won the first Under-19 World Cup. In the year 2008, Virat Kohli became the captain of the team India champion.
Later than in 2012, India became the winner in the captaincy of Unmukt Chand. Team India will be the biggest candidate for the title in 2018 as Team India is performing extremely well under the leadership of Prithvi Shaw.

16 Teams will play in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018 their matches in 4 cities in Christchurch, Queenstown, Taouranga and Wangarei. Ten Test countries have got automatic admission in this, even as Namibia will also be seen in the best performing team in the last season. 5 local qualifiers will play in this along with them.
The ten full members of the International Cricket Council qualify automatically for the tournament.
