FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 - RUSSIA

The FIFA world cup 2018 will be the 21st FIFA world cup. FIFA world cup comes after 4 years the last FIFA World Cup was hosted by Brasil in 2014 but this time the Men's FIFA world cup is scheduled to take place in Russia From 14th June to 15 July 2018. We let you know that Russia got awarded the hosting rights for FIFA world Cup 2018 on 2nd December 2010. The FIFA World Cup 2018 will be the first ever World Cup held in Eastern Europe since 2006.

Nation Participating in FIFA World Cup 2018

In FIFA World Cup 2018, there will be 32 National Teams including Russia. In these 32 teams 31 teams needs to be qualified by playing qualifier match. But Russia will be automatically qualified for the main league of FIFA World Cup 2018 because of it's hosting rights.

In FIFA World Cup 2018, 64 matches will be played in 12 different places in 11 different cities. And The final match of FIFA World Cup will be played in Moscow at Luzhniki Stadium on 15 July 2018.

The winners of FIFA World Cup 2018 will qualify for the 2021 FIFA Confederation Cup.

ROAD TO FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 - RUSSIA

To get qualified for main event of FIFA WORLD CUP 2018, All 54 Participating Member Associations (PMAs) will contest Round One. In Round One there will be 9 groups and each group will consists of 6 teams. The winner of these 9 group in round one will qualify for FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 - RUSSIA. And the eight best group runner-up of round one will take a part in round two. These 8 teams will be paired up in two four groups and the winner of these four groups will qualify for FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 - Russia. So total 13 teams will be qualified for FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 including Russia.
